Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking an motivated construction professional for our Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) group to bridge design and construction.

The role emphasizes field testing, data collection, and reporting across lab and site environments. You will work with a team on diverse projects, travel to job sites, and maintain safety standards while growing your certifications and skills in inspection and project management.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working outside in diverse weather conditions and on varied terrain.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• ACI Concrete Field-testing Technician Grade I Certification.
• Works collectively as part of a team while having the self-motivated ability to work remotely, efficiently, and independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills with timely responsiveness (phone, email, text).
• Maintain professionalism while managing relationships with associates, clients and contractors.
• Detail oriented; possessing basic writing skills and computer proficiency (Word and Excel).
• Demonstrated skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites.
• Ability to acquire acceptable PA Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances

Responsibilities

• Inspection and testing of construction materials in both laboratory and field environments to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
• Collection of data and preparation of reports.
• Schedule management and time tracking.
• Adhere to construction site safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
• Develop and foster relationships with clients, contractors, project manager, etc.
