Job summary

RESPEC, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks a Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technician to support our Pipersville location. The role performs QA inspections, documents testing, and coordinates with project teams to meet specs and timelines.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree and 1–3 years in soils and geosynthetics QA, with proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, and willingness to fieldwork year-round.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (Technical subject) preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience including soils and geosynthetics CQA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software is preferred.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork year-round, potentially for extended durations.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction quality assurance observation/inspections for Solid Waste, Environmental and Civil Construction Projects.
• Perform soils testing including nuclear and non-nuclear gage density/compaction testing & proof roll testing.
• Read and understand engineering plans, technical specs and other project documents to understand CQA requirements.
• Coordinate with soils/geotechnical testing and geosynthetic testing laboratories.
• Perform environmental inspection for E&S controls and Permit Compliance.
• Monitor on-site contractors and coordinate tasks with the project team and manager.
