Job summary

TAR is building fully islanded solar and storage campuses to power AI data centers. As a Construction Process Optimization Engineer, you will own installation productivity on the ground, embedded with our EPC and crews through the first campus build, focusing on pile driving, racking, module mounting, BESS, electrical placement and related logistics.

The role is senior, field-heavy, requiring extended time at a West Texas site with Austin as home base, and you will develop standard playbooks,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in process or industrial engineering, construction execution, or capital projects.
• Hands-on field construction project experience across EPC/owner sides.
• Measurement-first toolkit with data skills (Excel; Python/SQL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Run time-and-motion studies to establish TAR's productivity baseline.
• Identify bottlenecks and quantify schedule and cost impacts.
• Design field experiments and standardize winning methods.
• Develop material logistics system and QA/QC processes.
• Codify standard work and train EPC crews.
