Job summary

The Construction Laborer based out of Columbus, NE supports the superintendent and crew on site, assisting with installation and fabrication of agricultural building systems, and performing general labor at local or nationwide project sites.

This role requires safety focus, travel up to 75%, ability to operate machinery, load/unload materials, and adapt to weather. At least 1 year experience preferred; strong teamwork and communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment used in various trades.
• General construction industry and the sub-contractor trades.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solving and organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation or fabrication of agricultural building systems.
• Follow CCS safety culture and wear required PPE.
• Maintain safety of all persons on site daily.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Operate and tend machinery and heavy equipment.
• Follow Superintendent directions and construction plans.
