Job summary

United Companies East is seeking a Traveling Laborer to safely perform a variety of construction duties, assisting highway, utility, and on-site plant crews. Duties include manual tasks, operating skid steers, and maintaining a clean work area. Travel to job sites is required as directed by supervision.

The role demands a high school diploma (or GED), willingness to travel, and strict adherence to safety procedures. U.S. employment and on-site work throughout Colorado are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Previous related experience in the construction field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Unplugs and shovels off conveyors and screens; changes out screens and rollers as needed.
• Picks up and/or delivers construction materials at job site locations.
• Maintains tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
• Assists with flagging and traffic control as needed.
