Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Staff Construction Professional 2 to join our growing team in Greenville, SC or Charlotte, NC. This full-time role focuses on on-site environmental projects, coordinating with skilled professionals, and delivering safe, compliant remediation activities.

You will travel up to 90% and lead safety initiatives, manage field operations, and document site activities while collaborating with design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is preferred; no degree required with commensurate experience.
• 2–10 years of on-site environmental project experience, remediation system operation, and construction management.
• Experience on remediation sites or demolition of coal combustion residual units or waste facilities.
• Experience with environmental treatment systems (air sparge, groundwater treatment, etc.).
• Willingness to perform water and soil sampling and gauging.
• Strong safety commitment and proactive communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 90% to project sites.
• Lead safety cultures, HASP compliance, and daily safety meetings.
• Manage day-to-day construction and remediation activities.
• Prepare Daily Field Reports and photo logs with detailed descriptions.
• Coordinate with Design/Engineering teams on technical issues.
• Document site activities and track material deliveries and hours.
