Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Project Health & Safety Professional to support health and safety performance on contaminated-site management and environmental-remediation projects across the United States. The role blends fieldwork with office duties, requiring strong judgment, thorough documentation, and clear communication with employees, clients, and contractors.

You will travel to project sites across the United States up to approximately 80% of the time, conduct site visits, perform safety

Qualifications

• Requires degree in related field and 4+ years safety experience.
• Experience conducting field safety audits and serving as onsite safety representative.
• Familiarity with contaminated-site management and environmental-remediation.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Travel up to 80% across the U.S.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and health and safety audits for remediation projects.
• Serve as onsite safety representative and ensure compliance.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare safety audit reports and field documentation.
• Communicate safety expectations to teams and clients.
• Develop and evaluate project-specific safety plans.
• Apply knowledge of contaminated-site management when evaluating hazards.
• Split time between field and office assignments.
• Provide training and guidance to project personnel.
• Travel to project sites across the United States as required.
• Maintain records following safety protocols.
