Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a relevant construction degree and several years of experience, with extensive travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on the overall field operations of a project, including scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformances to drawings and specifications, and communication with subcontractors as required.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and follows the drawings’ intent.
• Ensure all work adheres to the established project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label each photograph clearly.
• Assist the Project Construction Manager with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors are using the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• May provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May be responsible for key trade and/or subcontractor support of the overall project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Maintain proper correspondence with project management and clients to handle issues clearly and professionally.
• Maintain on-site records and files per The Perry Group document control requirements.
• Understand and follow The Perry Group Quality Policy Statement and Quality Systems Work Instruction.
• 100% travel to project locations across the United States.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

High school diploma or equivalent
