Job summary

KALCON is seeking an experienced Field Construction Manager in Goodyear, AZ to serve as an Owner’s Representative overseeing construction projects across renovations, interior buildouts, laboratories, and industrial upgrades. You will interface with project management, GCs, design teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive safe, timely, and high-quality execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.
• 5+ years of field construction management on complex projects.
• Experience managing renovations, interior buildouts, laboratories, or technical facilities.
• Strong field oversight of GC, subs, and trade partners.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, specs, RFIs, and submittals.
• Ability to monitor schedules, progress, quality, and safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to spend most of the day in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site owner representation and field oversight across capital construction projects.
• Monitor contractor activities for safety, efficiency, and compliance with requirements.
• Conduct regular field walks to assess progress, site conditions, and safety.
• Serve as primary field interface between owner, PM, GC, design team, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee renovations and buildouts in commercial/industrial environments.
• Coordinate demolition, renovation, and full interior buildouts.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty systems workflows.
