The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in construction management for utility infrastructure, with strong safety practices and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a hands-on field environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of construction management experience.
• Experience supporting transmission, substation, utility, or power infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in a field environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct constructability and site feasibility reviews for transmission and substation projects.
• Validate site access, workspace requirements, and field conditions.
• Identify and communicate construction risks, constraints, and schedule impacts.
• Support outage planning and project development activities.
• Review preliminary engineering designs and material plans for field practicality.
• Oversee contractor activities to ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction progress.
• Provide daily project updates and field reports to management.
• Lead construction status meetings and resolve field-related issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, environmental, commissioning, material management, and stakeholder teams.
• Review and approve contractor timesheets, invoices, change orders, and job hazard analyses.
• Ensure QA/QC standards are met throughout construction activities.
• Support project closeout, reconciliation, and commissioning efforts.
