Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager 1 to lead field operations on client sites across the United States. You will represent the company on site, manage safety, quality, scheduling, and communications with clients and subcontractors.

Working with the Project Construction Manager, you’ll prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure drawings and revisions are followed. This 100% field role requires multi-project coordination and travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 9 years of relevant experience in Construction Management/Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years in Construction Management/Engineering with at least 3 years in CM/Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Keeps to the project schedule and escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for site records.
• Takes progress photographs and labels them for project records.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures use of the latest design drawings and revisions on site.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
