Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced Construction Manager/Project Manager to coordinate field construction administration and engineering services on diverse projects up to $10M in value. You’ll lead scope, cost control, and delivery using HNTB’s sophisticated contracting and delivery approaches, while mentoring teams and ensuring on-schedule, on-budget performance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8 years of experience (12 years if no degree).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or relevant degree.
8+ years of relevant experience, or 12 years in lieu of education.
Professional Engineer (PE), AICP, PMP, CCM, or NICET Level III preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops project scope and fee quotations; assists in proposals and contracts per HNTB’s SCA.
Coordinates project activities; monitors progress against schedules; resolves field issues with Architects/Engineers.
Oversees project controls; reviews schedules and construction progress.
Reviews submittals for conformance; develops strategies for submittal packages meeting schedules.
Implements SDA delivery; leads project management plan; mentors team; resolves non-compliant work.
Negotiates change orders; develops estimates; writes change orders.
Provides cost control and quality control within discipline.
Supports business development and client relationships for strategic projects.
