Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support field operations across multiple industries in the Fort Worth/Dallas area. You will assist the Construction Project Manager, EPC Project Manager, and Site Manager with safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, procurement, and documentation to execute EPC projects.

The role requires collaboration with project teams, preparation of RFPs and contract documents, and participation in audits, risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in construction-related field with 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and Site Manager with day-to-day project management.
• Coordinate safety, quality, schedule, and cost control across projects.
• Support procurement, contracts, bid processes, and subcontracts.
• Prepare RFPs, scope of work, and contract documents.
• Track progress, prepare status reports, and attend meetings.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Assist with project turnover and closeout activities.
• Analyze labor and equipment costs and maintain records.
