Ledcor is seeking a seasoned and dedicated Field Construction Manager to oversee daily field operations. This key role ensures project delivery on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The successful candidate will execute project plans and schedules, uphold site safety and quality control, and manage field staff, contractors, and tradespeople. The position requires the ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Ensure projects adhere to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and building codes.
2. Oversee quality testing and ensure conformance with the Project Quality Plan (PQP) on site.
3. Maintain site safety measures in compliance with corporate safety manuals and regulations.
4. Lead project safety meetings and contribute to developing the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP).
5. Monitor construction schedules to meet milestones and completion dates.
6. Estimate activity durations and materials for multi-discipline estimates.
7. Direct field staff and coordinate resources to meet project goals.
8. Supervise craft employees and subcontractors regarding safety, schedule, and quality.
9. Prepare purchase requisitions and review invoices from sub-trades and suppliers.

Qualifications:

1. 2-5 years of construction experience in supervisory roles such as foreman or lead hand.
2. Two-year college, trade, or technical diploma (preferred).
3. Understanding of current construction practices, documentation, costs, and budgets.
4. Ability to plan and manage project schedules and develop solutions within guidelines.
5. Effective communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and team management.
6. Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Working Conditions:

• Must meet physical requirements including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), working at heights, and in various weather conditions.
• This is a site-based role requiring 100% travel.
