This position is an on-site field construction manager role for individuals with strong knowledge of the means and methods used in the construction of electrical substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems.

The field construction manager is responsible for the actual construction of the project, including safety supervision, quality control/quality assurance, daily on-site reporting, and environmental compliance inspection. This role reports directly to the project manager and the Director of Construction for project-specific issues and general practices, respectively.

Minimum Requirements:

• OSHA 30 trained or MSHA equivalent
• Minimum 10 years' experience in transmission line or substation construction
• Understanding of high and medium voltage electrical systems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, FTQ360, Raken, and Vista software
• Frequent travel expected
• Must not require sponsorship for employment visa now or in the future
• Subject to drug and background checks and insurance requirements
