Job summary

Ivanhoe Electric is seeking a Surface Construction Coordinator to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of mining construction activities on site in Arizona. The role interfaces with construction crews, contractors, engineering teams, procurement, and site leadership to ensure safe, on-time delivery of work packages.

The position requires a strong field presence, hands-on coordination, and the ability to manage multiple fronts in an operational mining environment, adhering to MSHA

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong safety mindset with knowledge of MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities across multiple work fronts and schedules.
• Review drawings, specs, and scopes for constructability.
• Monitor field activities for safety, quality, and progress.
• Maintain daily records of progress, materials, and workforce.
• Assist in incident investigations and corrective actions.
