The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional (100% Field) to join our Phoenix project team. The role focuses on coordinating field operations and managing day-to-day site activities.

You will oversee subcontractors, maintain on-site records, and prepare daily/quality reports while ensuring safety and adherence to schedule and drawings. Qualification options include high school to bachelor's degrees in Construction Management or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate/High school level education with construction/field operations experience.
• Experience coordinating field operations and ensuring quality control on site.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Maintain project schedule, escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager, and prepare required reports.
• Prepare daily and quality inspection reports; document progress with photos and site records.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions and assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager; communicate clearly with project management and clients.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years experience

Associate degree + 6 years experience

Bachelor's degree + 3 years experience in Construction Management/Engineering
