Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations on client projects across the United States. You will represent the company on site and oversee safety, quality, scheduling, contracts, and client relations.

This role is 100% in the field with travel nationwide; you will coordinate with Project Managers, manage subcontractors, prepare reports, and ensure drawings are current.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 12+ years in construction management.
• Associate degree with 9+ years in CM/ supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years in CM/Supervision, plus 3+ years in CM/Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs and label/identify each photograph.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• Provide assistance to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with client approval with Project Manager.
• Maintain clear, professional communications with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
