Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Field Construction Manager to support D4 projects across the United States. This role requires frequent travel and onsite field leadership of remediation, abatement, and demolition teams.

You will coordinate construction activities, supervise subcontractors, monitor safety, and maintain project documentation while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and client expectations. You will also provide constructability insights to design teams to help keep projects on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental and/or demolition construction management experience.
• Seasoned customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel up to 90%, with rotations approximately every 3 weeks for an extended weekend home.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities and deliveries with client/site personnel.
• On-site supervision/management of Arcadis Subcontractors; manage deliveries and site usage.
• Inspect major equipment deliveries for conformance with specs and drawings.
• Foster clear communication among subcontractors, vendors, and client.
• Monitor health and safety; conduct weekly progress meetings and enforce safety standards.
• Maintain documentation via weekly progress reports, field notes, photos/videos, and cost of completion forecasts.
• Respond to information requests; monitor schedules and ensure deliverables meet contract quality standards.
• Assist with budget tracking, payments, and change control; oversee document management.
• Support design teams with constructability reviews.
