Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Field Construction Manager to join its ACS team to support D4 projects across the U.S. This role requires frequent travel to project sites and sits within a broader Global Resilience business area focusing on on-site field management.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in environmental or demolition construction management, strong stakeholder skills, and readiness to travel up to 90%. A degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental and/or demolition construction management experience.
• Seasoned customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel up to 90%, with rotations approx every 3 weeks for extended weekend home.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities and deliveries with client/site personnel.
• Inspect on-site work and manage arcadis subcontractors and deliveries.
• Inspect major equipment deliveries for conformance with specs/drawings.
• Foster clear communication among subcontractors, vendors, and client.
• Monitor health and safety; conduct weekly progress meetings and field observations.
• Maintain documentation via weekly progress reports, field notes, photos/videos, and cost forecasts.
• Respond to RFIs; monitor schedules to ensure conformance with contract quality standards.
• Assist with budget tracking, payments, and change control; oversee document management.
• Support design teams with constructability reviews and related tasks.
• Deliver environmental and water/wastewater construction projects per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project files, meeting records, and correspondence, and project controls information.
