Job summary

PMA seeks an experienced Field Construction Manager to oversee field execution of baggage handling system stabilization at San Francisco International Airport. You will independently manage workstreams, coordinate contractors and safety, and plan around live operations and shutdowns.

This senior role requires strong judgment, scheduling coordination, and close collaboration with stakeholders to achieve reliable project delivery and compliant closeout.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management on complex projects.
• Experience in airport or live-operational environments.
• Experience with baggage handling or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field leadership for baggage handling system stabilization and improvement.
• Plan and monitor field execution around live baggage operations and shutdown windows.
• Monitor safety, quality, inspection, testing, and documentation requirements.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, deficiencies, clarifications, and changes.
• Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and operational acceptance.
• Drive punch-list resolution and closeout documentation.
