Job summary

CTL Engineering is hiring Engineering Technicians and Construction Inspectors for water/wastewater plant projects and water main work in NE Ohio. Ongoing training and growth opportunities are provided, with potential for more responsibility based on experience and interest.

Qualifications include a high school/tech/trade or associate degree; water/wastewater exposure is a plus but not required. Candidates with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School/Tech/Trade School or Associate degree with interest in construction inspection.
• Prior water/wastewater/ water main project experience is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor’s degrees in Construction Management or Civil Engineering encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction engineering technician and inspection services for W/WW plant construction projects and water main installations.
• Test, inspect, and report on concrete pours, rebar placement, and utility locations.
• Ensure contractor compliance with state specs and project documents.
• Notify contractor or project engineer of non-conforming work.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
