Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Engineering Technicians | Construction Inspectors with emphasis on Water/Wastewater plants and water main projects in the Ashtabula, OH region.

Ongoing mentoring and training are provided, with opportunities for increased responsibility based on experience and interest. The role focuses on inspection, field-testing, and reporting for municipal clients, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School or technical/associate degree with construction inspection interest.
• New grads encouraged; exposure to water/wastewater projects is a plus.
• Degrees in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction engineering technician and inspection services for W/WW plant projects and water mains.
• Test and report on concrete pours, rebar, utility location, digging, and water main work.
• Ensure contractor compliance with plans, specs, and proposals.
• Notify Project Engineer of non-conforming work and maintain project records.
