Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in inspecting or supervising construction work.
• Equivalent to a high school education. Education obtained outside the United States must be evaluated for US equivalence.
• Substitution: Associate's degree in architectural or engineering drafting or a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering may substitute required experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor construction activities including grading, paving, concrete, reinforcing steel, pile driving, and backfill.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Verify completed work for contractor payments and project progress.
• Enforce contract compliance by documenting deficiencies and coordinating corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
