Job summary

K. Singh & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to support the management and construction of infrastructure projects in Milwaukee, WI.

The role involves field inspection, coordination with engineers, subcontractors, and field supervisors, and documentation of daily activities. The candidate will work both in the office and in the field, measuring quantities, preparing reports, and assisting the Construction Management Team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Survey, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in this role.
• 1-3 years' experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Previous field experience including construction projects is preferred.
• Prefer experience in Land Surveying.
• Ability to provide survey field support as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, and the ability to work long hours while maintaining concentration.
• Must have good interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work performed by Contractors and Subcontractors on the job site.
• Observing work that is being performed.
• Measure quantities of work performed.
• Enter quantities into bi-weekly estimate for Contractor payment.
• File Daily Reports in Field Book or Field Manager.
• Attend weekly construction meetings.
• Document work performed by Contractor with regards to plans & specifications.
• Assist in the collection of materials for testing.
• Support the Construction Management Team as needed.
