Job summary

Raba Kistner, Inc. is seeking a dependable Construction Inspector I–V to join our Infrastructure team in Midvale, UT.

Under general supervision, you will inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, drawings and specifications, and report observations in writing and orally to your supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and meet firm's auto insurability requirements.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities in accordance with established quality procedures and assess compliance with plans, specs, shop drawings and related documents.
• Prepare and submit accurate, legible testing/inspection reports daily.
• Review plans, specs, general notes and shop/working drawings prior to performing duties.
• Perform field tests on materials and completed work using standard methods (AASHTO, ASTM) with calibrated testing equipment.
• Maintain safety, proper handling and storage of documents/tools; follow deadlines and communicate progress.
