Job summary

Dewberry's Daphne office is seeking a Construction Inspector / Manager to provide complete construction administration and inspection services for site civil construction activities including roadways, land development, and water and sewer utility projects.

This full-time role involves field visits, resident inspection, coordinating with contractors, and preparing reports, drawings and certifications under the supervision of a licensed engineer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of site construction, project management, or supervision experience
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to obtain ALDOT certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site resident inspection for projects in the Daphne office.
• Assist with engineering and project management tasks when inspection isn’t available.
• Prepare cost estimates and assist bid process coordination.
• Organize and attend meetings, take minutes, and document field reports.
• Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for conformance.
• Maintain project files, prepare as-built drawings and close-out materials.
• Provide quality assurance reviews and daily/weekly/monthly reports
