Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Inspector to monitor and document construction activities at Overland Park, KS. You will ensure contractor work complies with plans, perform basic calculations, and maintain daily inspection logs while coordinating with Field Engineer.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and state certificates as required. DOT inspection experience is preferred, and MS Office proficiency is expected for reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observe, document, and verify contractor work for compliance with contract documents and plans.
• Use inspection practices to perform standard calculations and measurements of completed work to date.
• Maintain Inspector's daily report of activities, labor, and equipment, and verify materials.
• Perform on-site material testing and produce as-built sketches as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
