Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience with construction inspection
• KDOT Inspection certification is required
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and documentation

Responsibilities

• Input data into pre-written computer programs
• Advanced operation of computer programs, report generation and calculations
• Interprets construction plans and specifications
• Observes construction operations and assesses conformance to plans and specs
• Performs construction materials testing
• Provides clear written documentation of daily activities and site conditions
• Communicates effectively with staff, contractors, and client representatives
• Works independently or as part of a larger team
• Seeks increasing levels of responsibility and opportunities to train others
• Prepares proposals for potential projects and marketing events
