Keville Enterprises Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Inspector to join our team in Rocky Hill, CT. The role focuses on inspecting contractor work to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications, with daily progress reporting and quantity tracking.

Candidates should have two+ years in civil/highway inspection and read plans and specs. Required NICET Level 2, a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of civil, highway or relevant engineering field experience with field inspection capacity.
• NICET Level 2 required.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Other certifications (e.g., NACE Coatings Inspection; ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications.
• Report daily progress and track quantities of work performed.
• Resolve construction problems in the field and provide oversight as assigned.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications; perform quantity takeoffs/calculations.
