The area of focus will be inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specification, contract administration, reporting daily progress, tracking and documenting quantities of work performed, resolving construction problems and challenges in the field and other oversight responsibilities as assigned. Candidates shall have knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, strong communication skills, documentation control, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and to perform quantity takeoffs/calculations.
Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects is a must. Candidates must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks and be a team player.
