Inspect fieldwork to ensure conformity to standards and document observations; coordinate with contractors, designers, utilities and residents on project sites. Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil/Environmental/Construction/Survey programs, have reliable transport, and are prepared for outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Student majoring in Civil Engineering or related field with emphasis on Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from office/project location.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things.
• Willing to work in outdoor environments and tolerate extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work to document conformity to standards and specifications.
• Assist coordination between contractors, designers, utilities, and local residents.
• Maintain field observations, daily reports, and measurements for payment quantities.
• Perform material sampling and testing (soil, compaction, concrete, etc.).
• Utilize Microsoft Office, Appia, SiteManager and BlueBeam.
• Other duties as assigned.
