Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or six months of related sub-professional experience.
• Must hold required certifications and operate testing equipment.
• Inspect and verify construction work to ensure compliance with standards and specs.
• Prepare reports, measurements, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect projects for compliance with standards and specifications.
• Lead inspector in absence of Construction Inspector 5; assist with coordination.
• Monitor contractor procedures, signage, and EEO compliance.
• Perform field testing such as soil density tests and pavement profile evaluations.
• Take, verify, and record project measurements and quantities.
