Job summary

Evergy is hiring a Field Construction Coordinator at Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Burlington, KS. This role provides construction and administrative support for day‑to‑day operations of complex projects under supervision.

Requisition ID NUC00FV within Strategic Projects requires strong field experience and effective communication. Responsibilities include coordinating with PMs/engineers, attending constructability meetings, inspecting field work, tracking materials, and ensuring

Qualifications

High school diploma and 12 years of related experience in construction field.
Degree in Project/Construction Management preferred.
Familiarity with construction methods and standards.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with flexibility.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and Designers to address constructability early.
Attend constructability meetings and determine project requirements.
Inspect and oversee construction to meet procedures and design requirements.
Monitor work package status and material documentation, hold points and safety.
Maintain daily construction log and communicate issues to supervision.
