Job summary

Capstone Copper Corp. is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support the Engineering Projects Group. You will work primarily in the field, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient material coordination. Responsibilities include developing work scopes, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining strong communication with Project

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction management, project management, or related industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor engineering and construction projects to support safe, efficient execution.
• Assist in developing project work scopes, schedules, cost quotations, and readiness plans.
• Receive, inspect, and coordinate delivery of materials to project sites and laydown yard.
• Monitor contractor, vendor, and internal workforce performance to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Track progress, identify scheduling challenges, and support timely completion of projects.
• Coordinate activities between Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, and contractors for successful execution.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and company policies.
• Provide regular project status updates and communicate schedule changes.
