Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete at multiple sites. You will run slump, air, and temperature tests, and document results daily while coordinating with superintendents on-site.

No prior experience is required as we provide training and sponsor certifications, including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge safety, with potential growth into laboratory and project oversight roles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in heat and varying weather.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I certification and nuclear gauge sponsorship a plus; company pays for certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31; run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
