Amspec LLC. is seeking a field operations supervisor to oversee the location’s field staff and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards across terminals, refineries, vessels and barges.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, implementing training, investigating quality concerns, and enforcing AmSpec policies while maintaining safety with routine drug and alcohol testing. The role requires strong ethical judgment and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work with little or no supervision for extended periods.
• Ability to analyze complex and involved situations and make informed decisions based on discretion and sound business judgement.
• Ability to interact with individuals from many diverse countries and areas and present sound and logical reasoning for decisions made
• Strong ethical judgement and desire to ensure that the correct methods and processes are followed at all times
• Strong inter-personnel skills and patience necessary to teach inspectors the correct way to carry out their responsibilities
• Strong math and analytical reasoning skills
• High school diploma and some college preferred, industry experience a plus

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the management of the location’s field staff, including scheduling, training, and disciplinary recommendations
• Perform announced and unannounced audits of field staff and prepare reports with recommendations
• Implement training programs to maintain compliance and expertise
• Investigate quality concerns and issue corrective action reports as necessary
• Ensure strict enforcement of AmSpec policies and procedures
• Maintain safety by enforcing pre-employment, random and annual drug and alcohol testing
