Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Commissioning Manager for West Memphis, AR or hybrid with travel. This role leads on-site commissioning and ensures the technical scope aligns with contract requirements, coordinating closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager.

The CXM oversees testing strategy, FAT/SAT, and field resources, with a strong emphasis on customer relationships, quality delivery, and documentation. This becomes a pivotal, client-facing position on high-impact automation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent hands-on field experience.
• 5–8 years commissioning experience, including 3–4 years in field commissioning/controls.
• Hands-on leadership of field teams and managing technical resources.
• Experience as primary client contact or site-level technical liaison.
• Experience with FAT/SAT and commissioning in data center or critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Own contracted technical scope delivery and ensure commissioning to specification.
• Advise on staffing, strategy, and schedule constraints.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve issues and support testing.
• Lead site field commissioning activities from pre-functional checks to final acceptance.
• Oversee FAT/SAT and commissioning test plans; be the on-site coordination point.
• Drive punch list resolution and re-testing through to close-out.
• Review and approve commissioning documentation, test reports, and turnover packages.
