Job summary

Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors (MMC) is seeking a Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Service Technician in Mankato, MN. The role involves servicing, repairing and installing commercial HVAC equipment across a geographic territory; daily client contact and reporting are essential.

The position requires a HS diploma or trades experience, a valid driver’s license, and union eligibility. Travel is required; a company van and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or degree/certification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems including HVAC.
• Must have valid driver's license and union membership or ability to join Local Union #6.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, retrofit and installation of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Complete work orders, service reports and inspections using handheld devices.
• Travel locally between properties to service multiple customers in the territory.
