Job summary

Benedict Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician HVAC-R to maintain, repair, and install commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and related equipment. This role focuses exclusively on commercial systems and requires strong diagnostic skills.

The position is full-time, with on-site work across central Minnesota, and includes on-call nights and weekends as needed. EPA Universal Certification and a valid commercial driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum one year of related refrigeration/HVAC experience required, two-years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and makes modifications to commercial mechanical equipment.
• Reads and understands technical drawings to repair/maintain equipment.
• Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
• Operates a company vehicle and ensures safety while on job sites.
• Demonstrates professionalism and strong communication with customers.
