Job summary

Genesis Reference Laboratories in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Collections Care Specialist to be the face of Genesis in the field, performing patient-centered specimen collection, logistics support, and relationship management.

You will use our Genuin LIS for orders, manage collection kits, and liaise with partner healthcare providers while delivering compassionate, accurate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of direct patient care or customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn systems (Genuin, EMR/EHR).
• Reliable transportation and ability to stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens with precision and professionalism.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered support during collections.
• Use our LIS system (Genuin) for patient entry, orders, and documentation.
• Prepare and manage collection kits and supplies.
• Transport specimens safely as part of our medical courier workflow.
• Serve as a key liaison between Genesis and partner healthcare providers.
• Support site operations and growth across assigned locations.
