NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene seeks a Consultant (Public Health-SOCI) to advance the Co-Response Team program in NYC. The role conducts field-based outreach, clinical assessments, and crisis interventions in coordination with NYPD, hospitals, and community partners.

Qualificações

• MSW degree from an accredited social work program.
• CSW certification required within 18 months of appointment.
• New York City residency generally required within 90 days of appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field-based deployments and maintain an assigned caseload with outreach and engagement.
• Provide field-based trauma-informed behavioral health crisis intervention.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments before and after crisis encounters.
• Coordinate with NYPD, hospitals, and city agencies to plan services and referrals.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in program databases and systems.
