Ellis Machinery & Equipment, Inc. is seeking a dynamic CNC Machine Tool Sales Representative to engage manufacturing clients in the Greater Portland area, understand their needs, and recommend tailored solutions.

This field-based role blends technical product knowledge with relationship management to drive results. You will travel regularly, build lasting partnerships with customers and vendors, and strive to exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience (B2B or technical sales preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Comfortable with regular travel within the Greater Portland area.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly understand our line of CNC machinery and products through comprehensive training.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
• Conduct in‑person visits and phone interactions to maintain strong connections within your assigned territory.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
• Cultivate partnerships with key vendors to enhance product offerings.
• Exceed sales targets and deadlines.
• Schedule follow‑up meetings to keep clients informed of new opportunities.
