Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking an engaged CMT Engineering Technician to join our Panama City Beach, FL team. The role focuses on field materials testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt, plus documenting results and inspections.

You will perform basic laboratory tests, evaluate subgrade conditions, and communicate with clients and project staff to resolve construction issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Read and interpret field and lab test procedures.
• Interpret project documents to evaluate site conditions and testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform field materials testing of soil, concrete, masonry, rebar, asphalt.
• Prepare detailed field reports with test results and observations.
• Conduct basic lab tests on soil and concrete and report results.
• Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide field recommendations.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and staff regarding construction issues.
