Atlas Technical Consultants is seeking a CMT Technician in St. Louis, MO.

You will join seasoned teams performing construction materials testing and inspection on regional infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on field experience while ensuring materials meet plans and quality standards. Join Atlas to build technical skills, work on diverse projects, and contribute to communities’ safety and infrastructure.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction or CMT experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work any shift as needed.
• Ability to obtain industry certifications (ICC, NICET, NETTCP, CWI).
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn specialty equipment.
• Strong reliability, accountability and responsiveness.
• Experience in materials lab, geotechnical drilling, or soils is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field tests for Construction Materials Testing as directed by the CMT Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Travel to Midwest sites; potential overnight/weekend travel.
• Relay field information to Project Manager/Engineer with limited in-field decisions.
• Transport equipment, test specimens, and documents to fields, labs, clients or offices.
• Enter daily field observation and summary reports; perform field QC testing of in-place concrete.
• Perform field density testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Assist other technicians and staff; support other departments as needed.
