Job summary

Medtronic plc seeks a field-based Clinical Specialist, Enabling Technologies to provide clinical and technical support for Neurosurgery/Navigation/Robotics products. The role requires travel within the territory, client training, and collaboration with NRCs to install and optimize technology-enabled procedures.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential. The candidate will educate physicians and hospital staff, maintain equipment, and ensure quality system compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience (high school).
• Associate’s Degree with relevant experience or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience.
• RT and/or MRI certification is a plus; experience with image-guided systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with NRCs and Surgical Synergy team for on-site installations.
• Provide technical assistance during technology-enabled procedures.
• Maintain hardware and software to maximize system performance.
• Install software and hardware upgrades and perform preventative maintenance.
• Provide telephone clinical support to customers.
• Educate physicians and hospital staff on technology-enabled procedures.
• Travel within territory and drive to multiple accounts as required.
• Represent Medtronic during procedures and maintain strong customer relationships.
