Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Field Clinical Specialist to support EVOQUE (TTVR) cases in Tennessee, with broader US coverage as needed. Memphis or nearby candidates are preferred.

The role focuses on delivering focused onboarding, teaching physicians, and serving as the clinical expert for Edwards products in the hospital setting. You will train staff, coordinate sessions, and travel up to 60–75% to support implants, while collaborating with sales and product teams to advance life‑changing

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience as Edwards criteria.
• Eight+ years of medical device or clinical experience.
• A valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel up to 60-75% (includes car, air, overnight).

Responsibilities

• Educate physicians on device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques.
• Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service education in hospitals.
• Provide medical staff with clinical instructions to support patient care.
• Identify therapy adoption opportunities with local sales teams.
• Serve as the designated expert on Edwards products for hospital staff.
• Provide on-site guidance during implants and prepare contingency plans.
• Document procedural observations for regulatory and improvement purposes.
• Collaborate with product development to provide device feedback.

This Field Clinical Specialist will cover EVOQUE (TTVR) cases in Tennessee, with additional coverage as needed across the US. Candidates based in Memphis or near surrounding area are strongly preferred. Field Clinical Specialists are hired to support a specific therapy or device within the TMTT portfolio, allowing for focused onboarding and deep clinical expertise. As the portfolio evolves, specialists are expected to cross-train and expand their support to additional therapies based on business needs and demonstrated proficiency. Successful candidates bring adaptability, a commitment to continuous learning, and a long-term mindset to advance life‑changing therapies.

How you'll make an impact:

• Educate physicians on device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to the equipment required for device implants
• Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service education programs in the hospital environment
• Provide medical staff with clinical instructions to support the full continuum of patient care
• Identify therapy adoption opportunities in collaboration with sales reps and managers in local geographies
• Serve as the designated expert on Edwards products by sharing your knowledge and training hospital staff
• Provide on-site, real-time guidance during clinical implants and proactively prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen occurrences
• Document procedural case observations for regulatory requirements and ongoing continuous improvement
• Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on device features and new device development

What you’ll need (Required):

• An associate's degree in related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience, or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
• Medical Device industry experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A willingness to travel up to 60-75% (includes car, air, overnight)

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Experience in interventional cardiology or cardiac cath lab
• Hands on clinical imaging experience in intraprocedural structural heart, cardiac sonography (RDCS/RDS) highly preferred
• MPR (multiplanar reconstruction) experience and CT-imaging experience
• Cardiac surgery experience
• Clinical engineering experience from industry-related positions that support clinical development and clinical case support
• Strong knowledge in cardiovascular science and valvular heart disease processes
