Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Field Clinical Specialist to support Shockwave Medical Inc. in Roanoke, VA. You will train physicians, provide case coverage, and contribute to clinical studies during pre- and post-market phases of IVL technology.

The role requires extensive travel (>50%) and collaboration with regulatory and clinical teams to ensure compliant study execution and data collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, science, nursing or related field.
• 2 years’ experience supporting interventional or surgical procedures, or 1 year in industry hospital-based life sciences sales support.
• Knowledge of clinical research, GCP and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel >50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide case support to physicians during peripheral and coronary procedures.
• Train physicians and hospital staff on safe use of medical devices.
• Present clinical study training materials per investigational plans.
• Manage study investigators and coordinate with clinical research colleagues.
• Handle territory travel, budgets and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business needs.
