Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Clinical Specialist in Morgantown, WV and Santa Clara, CA to support Shockwave Medical IVL technology. You will train physicians, cover procedures, and support clinical studies while ensuring accurate data collection across assigned territories.

The role requires collaboration with clinical leaders, management of site retraining, and coordination of travel and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, nursing or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting interventional or surgical procedures in a hospital setting or 1 year in industry/life sciences support.
• Experience with clinical studies and data collection procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician and hospital staff training and case coverage for safe device use.
• Present clinical study materials, including protocols, instructions for use, and case report forms.
• Manage study investigators and maintain relationships with clinical leaders.
• Collaborate with clinical research colleagues to support site retraining and timely data collection for database locks.
• Handle territory travel, budgets, and other administrative tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
