Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent on heavy civil construction projects in the United States.

You will assist with submittals, RFIs, logs, budgets, and schedules, spending 20%–30% in the field to ensure field objectives are met.

Requires a Civil Engineering or related degree and 3+ years of experience, plus proficiency with MS Office and Primavera P6; offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar degree.
• 3+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Moderate to high proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Acquiring, organizing, reviewing and distributing project submittals & RFIs.
• Creating and maintaining all required Project Logs and takeoffs.
• Communicating with the owner and client representatives.
• Maintaining project budgets and complete required cost reports.
• Scheduling self-perform, subcontractor work and supplier material deliveries.
• Reading and interpreting documents such as project plans and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
